Deep in the heart
Etched for life
Echo it did
In every nerve and vein
A remark so callously uttered
‘What have you done for me?’
So she said point blank
‘I’m not happy in this house’
All the blame is on you
And she meant with a cold voice
So she broke
This fragile heart
Unexpected she made it happen
This statement that meant to say
She cared less,
All these tears
That clung to her feet
But could not stop
So she ruined this
It was her life
So she blamed
The only one
Who stood for her
The words were said
The deed was done
And now she smiled
But the remark resounded again and again
And something broke
Which she did not see!
