Rhyme and Reflection

Spinning life’s chaos into laughs, stories, and verses — because therapy is expensive

You and Me

Friday, November 23, 2001 | 1 minute read

Time passes by
World moves on
People meet and depart
In the end, that’s left, you and me

The entire world surrounds us
The laughter and cries echo everywhere
People known unknown, walk along
In the end, leaving just you and me

The ironic twist, the friendly family
Our own kith, our kin
Everyone move into a new circle
Leaving, but just you and me

The dawn of a new sun
The end of a busy day
In the cozy warmth of moonlight
Lay, alone you and me

Staring into the vacuum
Hanging onto sweet memories
Watching the skin glow and wrinkle
In the arms of time, lie you and me
