Perfect Partner

Tuesday, August 07, 2007 | 1 minute read

She yearned for him
Her eyes scanning the horizon
to quickly zoom into him
for in him she found her perfect partner

She could not wait to chat
to drench him in her emotional rain
Narrate every moment of her day
to drown him in her sorrow, joy and stain

She longed to be consoled by him
Basking in his manly shade, she loved to feel secure and safe
She rejoiced in sharing her privacy
She felt complete just being with him

Somewhere in the secure world
She met, flirted and fell for him
ignoring logic and better sense
She lost her self completely to him

Sometimes she dreamt of the hot steamy nights
Her face buried in his naked chest
His arms wrapped around her back and breast
While his lips kissing her cascade of hair

Emotionally she entwined in him, closing the divide
Forgetting his virtual existence, his online self
She completely leaned on him as her true spouse
while her ignorant husband snored in the bed nearby
