Rhyme and Reflection

Spinning life’s chaos into laughs, stories, and verses — because therapy is expensive

Into the Wilderness

Tuesday, July 07, 2015 | 1 minute read

Standing at the doors of the jungle
peering into the unknown dark horizon
beholding the strange world work and fumble
you smile with joy and leap into the amazon

unaware of the adventure far ahead
waiting to sweep you with absolute no attention
whisking you into glory and beyond
tossing few measures of tears and joy in unison apprehension

sometimes you will fail
the fall louder than you can bear
getting up again and grabbing the rein
is what you unknowingly prepared all this growing days in rear

sometimes you will sail
far ahead than anyone may care
leaving behind many precious gems in the dark pail
such is the fun of this unknown dare

as for today, not just another day
cause you step from the comfort of the childhood care
into the dark abyss of future fame and stare
to find your path as you win, fall, fail and stay in the glare
