Shining brightly in crystal white
she wrapped her arms around me
looking directly into my eyes
she shook her head albeit with a smile
I have never danced this way before
seeing you super-high, I feel wimpy-low
sweeping her amber curls revealing her face in heaven
she said this has never happened since sixty seven
with the time-difference in between I cannot be seen with you
teasing me she pulled herself away
as I tugged her close
don't leave me now my strawberry honey
stay with me this summer and many
my days will grow shorter without you honey
I may not see you like this again for years far many
moving closer and bridging the gap grainy
she kissed my cheek once many
while quickly planting a smooch on my red hot lip shiny
I have to go
I have to go
saying she hugged me tight
we were never meant to tango
I'm just a dream
a faraway dream
she pushed me away
watching me fall
all the way into the night's dark fray
