Spinning life’s chaos into laughs, stories, and verses — because therapy is expensive

Our place on earth, our universe .. magnificent, beautiful and the only place we can call home. Yet the universe’s size is baffling.. so big that we cannot comprehend nor wrap our arms around .. the numbers are mind-boggling big that we cannot even try to perceive .. just lumping it under light-years and astronomical units .. Even light traveling at its best will take years to reach the nearest galaxy .. again, the extremes are reached on the smaller size too with atoms, electrons, protons .. tiny, very tiny that we cannot understand nor see .. atoms made of nothing but empty space yet powerful to create everything that we know, see, touch and feel .. In between these extreme wonders, we live with our thoughts, ideas, feelings, emotions and self-inflicted problems .. It's all Maya .. an illusion or is it?

Our life
an illusion

Seeing light in the visible spectrum
Hearing only within the limited audible spectrum
Staying inside a captive bubble

Our life
an illusion

Time that ticks is relative
You and me perceive at miniscule variance
Many millionth of a fraction of a second different
The light from the sun minutes old
Stars, many years behold

Our life
an illusion

You look solid
Muscles and tissues
Look within, you are an atom
Made of 99% empty space
Yet visible, whole and not hollow

Our life
an illusion

Our emotions are not real
Built only in our heart
A rain can make me dance
While you may cry wrapped in sadness advance

Our life
an illusion

Memories carry stories from past
Stories made up from spiced facts
Making us always a hero or a victim
Never the culprit

Our life
an illusion

Good, bad, right and wrong
Another illusion
Depends where we stand on the prong
Left is right if you see from the opposite side

Our life
an illusion

The only verity
Life begins, someday ends in death
Everything in between
A dance of illusion and wreath

Our life
an illusion
