Rhyme and Reflection

Spinning life’s chaos into laughs, stories, and verses — because therapy is expensive

Mirror

Tuesday, March 11, 2025 | 1 minute read

Reflecting my face,
A glow shining bright
"Is that really me?"
I asked in the light

The mirror just laughed,
"It’s you, can’t you see?
Like stars in the night,
Some parts hide, yet be"

The mirror speaks truth,
Both flawless and flawed,
It masks nothing real,
No beauty, no fraud

For years, I had looked,
At what I wished true,
But now, stripped away,
Stood nothing but you

The mirror just laughed,
Yet this time, I knew—
No more disguise,
Just me shining through
