Rhyme and Reflection

Spinning life’s chaos into laughs, stories, and verses — because therapy is expensive

Our Strange World

Thursday, February 14, 2013 | 1 minute read

Standing at the doorsteps of life's turmoil
I wonder what, together have we achieved?
Nothing but fragments of life shattered by pain
Reflecting the few happy moments interleaved

All those days squeezed with a mangle
All those dreams dreamt at few awkward moments
Everything has vanished leaving in dangle
A vast ridge of difference and lines of torments

Even as we face each other, our minds stay far away
Sounds of my whisper arrive as words of anger to you
In the darkness, you read my face, that I never intend to portray
Slowly collecting tears to ease the walk into new

As we rewind days from past
The blur images display hurt and hate
Overshadowing simple days of love and care
Echoing the unhappy emotions instate

Will we ever able to walk together again?
I pause; the baggage of emotion is too heavy
To be lifted across the ocean of time
And lay a path for a happy day levee
